Im Arbeitszyklus „En plein Air / Unter freiem Himmel“ geht es um Formen des Zusammenlebens im Kontext mobiler Wohnformen.
Mit Betonmodellen, Filmen und Aquarellen untersucht die Arbeit Raumpraktiken aus der Welt der Wohnmobile – einer Sphäre, in der sich das „Wohnen“ unter freiem Himmel mit Imaginationen von Landschaft, Freiheit und Bequemlichkeit verbindet.
Dabei richtet sich der Blick weniger auf reale mobile Lebensformen als auf ihre illusionäre, eskapistische Variante: auf jene Rituale und Routinen, durch die der Wunsch nach Freiheit in geordnete Alltäglichkeit überführt wird.

„En Plein Air / In The Open Air“ deals with forms of cohabitation in the context of mobile living.
Using concrete models, films and watercolours, the work examines spatial practices from the world of motor homes – a sphere in which “living” in the open air is combined with imaginations of landscape, freedom and comfort.
The focus is less on real mobile lifestyles than on their illusory, escapist variant: on those rituals and routines through which the desire for freedom is transformed into orderly everyday life
